Distinguished Scientific Contributions at National and International Conferences
Within the framework of strengthening the academic and research presence of the teaching staff of the College of Education for Girls – University of Shatrah, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hassan Qasim, a lecturer in the Department of Qur'anic Sciences and Islamic Education, made a series of distinguished scientific contributions at a number of national and international conferences that dealt with contemporary intellectual and philosophical topics, reflecting deep academic engagement with intellectual and research issues of a human and social dimension.
First – The First Conference:
Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hassan Qasim took part in the First International Scientific Conference held by the Holy Husseini Shrine under the slogan:
(The Arbaeen Pilgrimage: An Embodiment of Spiritual Values and Scientific Progress)
He presented a research paper entitled:
«The Arbaeen Pilgrimage and Its Cognitive Impact on Developing Behavioural Values – A Reading in Moral Philosophy»
The paper addressed the philosophical and ethical dimension of the Arbaeen pilgrimage as a human phenomenon expressing an integrated system of values that contributes to refining individual behaviour and strengthening collective awareness.
Second – The Second Conference:
Dr. Ahmed Hassan Qasim took part in the International Scientific Conference held by the Holy Kadhimiya Shrine under the slogan:
(The Two Imams Al-Hassan and Al-Hussein (peace be upon them): A Path of Truth and a Lamp of Knowledge)
with a research paper entitled:
«The Cold War and Its Sociological Impact on Shaping the Collective Mind – A Philosophical Reading of the Political Events Faced by Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him)»
The paper focused on an analytical philosophical reading linking political transformations in Islamic history with the sociological patterns of shaping collective awareness, drawing inspiration from the thought of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) in confronting intellectual and political crises.
Third – The Third Conference:
Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hassan Qasim also took part in the Third Scientific Conference organised by the University of Kufa under the slogan:
(The Philosophical and Theological School of Kufa – Contemporary Readings)
at which he presented a research paper entitled:
«The Islamisation of the Political System in the Thought of Sayyid Mohammed Baqir Al-Sadr – A Comparative Philosophical Reading»
The paper shed light on the philosophical and political vision of the martyr Sayyid Mohammed Baqir Al-Sadr, attempting to explore the features of his reform project for the Islamisation of political structures within a contemporary intellectual framework.

These three contributions by Asst.
