Dean of the College of Fine Arts Holds an Extended Meeting with the Teaching and Administrative Staff

The Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Dr. Yasser Al-Barrak, held today, Wednesday 17 September 2025, an extended meeting with the teaching and administrative staff of the College, in the presence of the Associate Dean, Lect. Dr. Ali Abdul-Zahra.

This meeting is the first since Dr. Al-Barrak was appointed Dean of the College. He opened it with a speech in which he stressed the importance of the coming stage and the need to work in a spirit of teamwork, reviewing in detail the full plan and vision of the College, which aims to develop academic and administrative performance and strengthen the College's scientific and artistic standing.

During the meeting, the Dean listened to the proposals and observations presented by the teaching and administrative staff, particularly those relating to activating the academic departments and administrative divisions and developing their working mechanisms, so as to raise the level of educational and administrative services provided to students.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Al-Barrak affirmed his keenness to follow up these proposals and turn them into implementable work programmes, explaining that the Deanship will remain open to dialogue and direct communication with the College's professors and staff to ensure that the desired goals are achieved.
