The College of Veterinary Medicine held a cultural seminar entitled “Media Freedom and Ethical Responsibility”, organised by the Human Rights Unit in cooperation with the University's Legal Affairs Department on Wednesday, 25 December 2025,

delivered by Asst. Lect. Haider Jaafar Attar and Asst. Lect. Hawraa Ahmed,

The seminar aimed to enhance the legal and media culture of students and staff, consolidate the principles of respect for human rights, and build responsible media committed to ethical and professional values, contributing to an aware university environment capable of dealing rationally with information and its sources.
