"Global Entrepreneurship Week 2026"
The Department of English Language at the College of Education for Girls – University of Shatrah holds a scientific seminar.
As part of the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2026, the Department of English Language at the College of Education for Girls – University of Shatrah held a scientific seminar entitled:
(The Erasmus Plus Programme – ERASMUS+)
The seminar was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Nasser Hassoun, a lecturer in the Department of English Language, and moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafi' Muhsin Alwan, Head of the Department of English Language.
The seminar covered several themes, beginning with an introduction to the Erasmus+ programme and its objectives, and its importance in supporting students and teaching staff by providing opportunities for academic mobility between European universities, getting to know different educational systems and opening up to diverse cultures and scientific experiences, contributing to developing academic and research skills and strengthening the spirit of entrepreneurship and scientific openness.
The lecturer also reviewed his personal experience as one of the programme's students during his doctoral studies, when he moved between a number of European universities, explaining the scientific and intellectual impact this experience added to his academic career.
The seminar was attended by the Associate Deans for Administrative and Scientific Affairs and a select group of distinguished teaching staff, along with the college's students, and saw notable interaction and great interest from the audience.
At its conclusion, the attendees expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the seminar organisers, wishing everyone continued success.
