Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hassan Qasim, a lecturer at the College of Education for Girls – University of Shatrah, took part in the Ninth International Conference, held under the slogan (Salman and the Perfection of Man), with a research paper entitled:
(Salman Al-Farsi in Usul Al-Kafi: an Epistemological Study of Narration and Signification)
(Salman al-Farsi in Usul al-Kafi: An Epistemological Study of Narration and Meaning).
The participation came as part of the conference organised by the Shia Endowment / General Secretariat of the Holy Shia Shrines at the shrine of Salman al-Farsi in Al-Mada'in / Baghdad, with the participation of a number of academics and researchers from Iraqi, Arab and international universities and scientific institutions.
The study addressed the epistemological and intellectual dimensions of the personality of Salman al-Farsi by analysing the narrations contained in the book Usul al-Kafi, highlighting his role in consolidating the values of human awareness and intellectual integration in the Islamic heritage, and showing the importance of an epistemological reading of heritage texts in building contemporary intellectual visions.
This participation reflects the scientific level of the teaching staff of the College of Education for Girls – University of Shatrah and their commitment to representing their institution in international academic forums, contributing to strengthening the college's presence at the scientific and research levels and consolidating its position on the map of national and international academic activity.
