College of Education for Girls / University of Shatrah organises a creative exhibition for students of the Department of Biology.
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah,
and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Prof. Dr. Afrah Abd Maktouf,
the Department of Biology at the College of Education for Girls – University of Shatrah organised a varied student exhibition, with the active participation of the department's students and in the presence of the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Salim Lathith, and a number of the college's teaching staff and employees.
The exhibition was organised under the supervision and follow-up of the Head of the Department of Biology, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hassan Sahib, with an active contribution from the faculty member Asst. Prof. Dr. Ibtihaj Ahmed Kadhim in preparing and organising its activities and nurturing the students' talents.
The exhibition displayed a collection of handicrafts created by the students, as well as paintings and a corner of cultural and religious books and novels, in a step aimed at developing the students' cognitive and creative aspects.
The exhibition also included health activities, namely measuring blood pressure and blood sugar levels, as part of promoting health awareness among the students, in addition to a "Free Wall" section that allowed them to express their opinions and ideas freely, as well as a display of wise sayings and motivational phrases encouraging perseverance and continuing the pursuit of knowledge.
The organisation of this exhibition is part of the keenness of the College of Education for Girls to support student activities, develop students' talents and foster their spirit of creativity and initiative, contributing to building a well-rounded academic personality.
