“Ur” Journal for the Humanities issues its seventh issue and continues its distinguished academic presence.
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Prof. Dr. Afrah Abd Maktouf, the College of Education for Girls at the University of Shatrah announced the publication of the seventh issue of its peer-reviewed scientific journal, “Ur Journal for the Humanities”.
This issue includes (51) peer-reviewed research papers on diverse topics covering the various fields of the humanities, clearly affirming the journal's continued support for rigorous scientific research and its embrace of researchers' intellectual output.
The journal is overseen by a select group of specialist academics: the editorial board is chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul-Ridha Ibrahim Jabr, while Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hassan Qasim serves as managing editor, within a scientific framework that seeks to achieve quality standards in academic publishing.
This issue is an extension of the college deanship's efforts to strengthen the scientific research environment and to provide an accredited academic platform that keeps pace with the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and contributes to raising the level of scientific output, supporting the presence of the University of Shatrah in scientific circles locally and internationally.
It is worth noting that the papers published in this issue underwent the scientific and linguistic peer-review procedures adopted by peer-reviewed journals, and have been indexed on the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals website (IASJ), allowing researchers to view and download them via the following link:
