College of Education for Girls at the University of Shatrah holds a scientific workshop on the procedures for academic promotion.
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Prof. Dr. Afrah Abd Maktouf Al-Ghazi, the College of Education for Girls / Sub-Committee for Promotions, in cooperation with the Information Technology Division, held a scientific workshop entitled:
(Steps for Submitting an Academic Promotion Application on Paper and Electronically)
in the Postgraduate Studies Hall (B7), on Monday (13/4/2026).
The workshop aimed to familiarise teaching staff with the procedures for submitting academic promotion applications, through a detailed presentation of the approved procedures, whether on paper or electronically, helping to simplify procedures, speed up the completion of applications and keep pace with the requirements of digital transformation in administrative work.
The workshop was delivered by:
Prof. Dr. Hadeel Tariq Ibrahim
Asst. Prof. Dr. Zahraa Saadoon Hadi
who addressed the main regulations and criteria that must be met in an academic promotion file, as well as clarifying the most common observations and answering the participants' questions, thereby enhancing the accuracy of submitted applications and their fulfilment of the required conditions.
The workshop saw interaction from the attendees through contributions and discussions that enriched the session and achieved its scientific objectives.
This workshop is part of the endeavour of the College of Education for Girls – University of Shatrah to support the academic careers of faculty members and develop administrative work procedures, in keeping with the requirements of quality and digital transformation in educational institutions.
