The Arts of Academic Writing

Under the gracious patronage and wise guidance of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, and under the direct supervision and diligent follow-up of the Dean of the College of Education in Al-Dawaia, Prof. Dr. Safaa Hussein Ali

the Department of English Language at our generous college held a specialised scientific course that delved into the arts and gems of academic expression, entitled:

"Foundations of Academic Writing: Essential Skills for Building Sound Essays and Research"

Mission and objectives of the course:

This course was not merely a recital of information, but a bridge of knowledge aimed at refining the skills of students and developing their powers of expression in the fields of research and writing. The course sought to instil solid scientific foundations and to equip students with the tools of methodical writing that raise the standard of their intellectual output and qualify them to undertake scientific research with full confidence and competence.
