Faculty member from the College of Education for Girls, University of Shatrah, holds a specialised scientific course at the Technical College in Al-Shatrah on the correct use of Arabic
As part of scientific openness and strengthening the bonds of academic cooperation between educational institutions, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kadhim Khudhair Kadhim, a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language – College of Education for Girls / University of Shatrah, held a specialised scientific course entitled:
«The Correct Use of the Arabic Language» at the Technical College in Al-Shatrah, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Saeed Harran.
The course addressed a number of specialised scientific themes aimed at strengthening the Arabic language in academic and administrative discourse, most notably:
precise linguistic phrasing and the adoption of sound styles in official writing, and an explanation of the mechanisms of written accuracy, emphasising the importance of observing punctuation marks and unifying the writing of numbers according to approved academic standards, as well as reviewing ways of raising the level of expression and writing among staff to ensure the accuracy of scientific and administrative output.
The course also highlighted the importance of caring for language as a principal tool in building and transmitting knowledge, and its role in enhancing the quality of academic performance within educational institutions.
This scientific event is part of the keenness of the College of Education for Girls – University of Shatrah to support the activities of its teaching staff and activate their role in spreading linguistic and cognitive awareness, contributing to developing academic skills and raising the scientific level in higher education institutions.
