As part of the activities of the College of Education – University of Shatrah aimed at openness and cooperation with its partner institutions in the educational process, in accordance with the directives of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, and with the support of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Safaa Hussein Ali, Asst. Lect. Ali Kshaish Shallal, a faculty member at the College of Education at the University of Shatrah, attended the ceremony held on the occasion of the Dhi Qar Directorate of Education / Human Rights Division winning first place in the programme (The School, Human Rights and Climate Change).
The ceremony was attended by distinguished official and academic figures, foremost among them the Acting Governor of Dhi Qar, Mr. Razzaq Kshaish, the Director General of Dhi Qar Education, Mr. Ali Ismail Sabti, and the member of the Dhi Qar Provincial Council, Mr. Ahmed Farhan Al-Khafaji, in addition to the ministerial delegation of the Ministry of Education.
Asst. Lect. Ali Kshaish Shallal was honoured with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his active interest and the efforts he made at this event.
This participation is part of strengthening joint cooperation between the University of Shatrah and the educational and service institutions in the governorate, and of supporting the distinguished efforts of educational staff in spreading a culture of human rights and raising awareness of confronting climate change.
