My eyes make you cry, not for any reward
But my eyes weep for you
You will be wet with blood from among yourselves
My cum is wet with flowing tears
Your sobriety has forgotten our sobriety
The coming calamities have been made easy and easy
▪️ Condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Abu Al-Ahrar, Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), and his pure family and distinguished companions. ▪️
Coinciding with the night of the tenth of the holy month of God, Muharram, the night of redemption, sacrifice, and martyrdom, the Deanship of the College of Education for Girls / University of Shatrah extends its deepest feelings of sadness, sorrow, and sincere condolences to the shrine of our Lord, the Master of the Age and Time, the Awaited Imam Mahdi (may God Almighty hasten his honorable appearance), and to our great authorities and eminent scholars, and to the entire sons of the Islamic nation, on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the tribe of the Messenger of God (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace). The master of martyrs is Imam Hussein bin Ali (peace be upon them), his pure family and his distinguished companions.
The eternal tragedy of Al-Taf was not a passing event in the pages of history. Rather, it will remain a renewed school of truth and honor, and a beacon that guides free people in all times and places. Ashura will remain a bleeding wound in the conscience of believers, and a heat in the hearts that never cools, arousing the meanings of sacrifice, patience, and steadfastness in the face of injustice and deviation.
What a great tragedy that made heaven and earth cry, and what an immortal epic that charted for generations the path of truth and dignity, and established the principles of reform, justice, and sacrifice for the sake of lofty human values.
As we recall this great catastrophe, we draw inspiration from the Husseini renaissance, the values of reform, justice, and human dignity, and we stress the importance of consolidating these lofty principles in the souls of our students and future generations, in fulfillment of the message for which Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his pure family members sacrificed.
May God reward us and you with greatness, and may God best console us and you with this great affliction, and make us and you among those who follow the path of Al-Hussein (peace be upon him) and adhere to his eternal principles.
Mr. Dr. Afrah Abd Maktuf Al-Ghazi
Dean of the College of Education for Girls/University of Shatrah
