The College of Veterinary Medicine organizes a training course on the ethics of professional practice in veterinary medicine

The Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine - University of Shatrah, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a training course entitled *"Ethics of Professional Practice in Veterinary Medicine"*, on Sunday, 10/11/2026 at the *Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Dhi Qar*.

Professor Dr. Durgham Ali Hassan and Dr. Jalil Abd Ghatti lectured at the course, where they discussed the most important ethical principles and values ​​that a veterinarian must have while practicing the profession, the controls for humane dealing with animals, the veterinarian’s relationship with the breeder and society, in addition to the legal and professional responsibilities entrusted to him.

The course aims to enhance moral and professional awareness among students and graduates, and to consolidate the concepts of commitment, compassion and responsibility in veterinary work, which contributes to raising the level of veterinary services provided.
