"UR" magazine for the humanities issues its eighth issue and opens its third year with a renewed scientific journey.
Under the generous patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah, Professor Dr. Bassem Abdul Hussein Jarallah, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Professor Dr. Afrah Abd Maktuf, the “Ur Humanities” magazine continues its academic journey with the issuance of the eighth issue, marking its entry into its third year of continuous scientific giving, in a step that reflects the college’s keenness to establish a culture of solid scientific research and enhance the magazine’s position among peer-reviewed academic journals.
The new issue included (65) peer-reviewed scientific research in various specializations within the fields of humanities and social sciences, with the participation of researchers and academics from universities and scientific institutions inside and outside Iraq, which reflects the growing confidence in the magazine and the expansion of its presence in academic circles.
This publication comes as an extension of the efforts made by the Dean of the College and the journal’s editorial board to raise the level of scientific publishing, as the editorial board is headed by Professor Dr. Abdul Redha Ibrahim Jabr, while Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hassan Qasim assumes the duties of managing editor, within a scientific vision that seeks to apply quality standards and enhance academic sobriety.
In line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s directives to support peer-reviewed scientific journals, the Ur Journal for the Humanities continues to consolidate its academic presence and serve researchers, which contributes to strengthening the position of the University of Shatrah at the local and international levels.
The research of this issue will be indexed on the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals (IASJ) website during the next few days, joining the previous indexed issues, allowing researchers and those interested to view the research and download it electronically via the following link:
