The Thermodynamics Laboratory is one of the College's important scientific laboratories. It aims to strengthen the practical side of the fundamental concepts of thermodynamics and link them to various engineering applications. The laboratory provides a learning environment that helps students understand the behaviour of materials and thermal systems by conducting practical experiments, measuring thermal variables and analysing results.
The laboratory also enables students to become familiar with the instruments and equipment used to study heat and energy transfer and thermal processes, and to develop their skills in conducting experiments, recording data and discussing results on a scientific basis. This helps develop their capacity for analysis and inference and link theory with practical application, strengthening their engineering skills and preparing them for the requirements of work in engineering and industrial fields
