Overview

As part of the tireless efforts of the University of Shatrah in Dhi Qar Governorate, Iraq, to keep pace with the digital revolution and advance higher education, and in line with the university's strategic development plan, the Computer Centre was established in 2024 as an integrated and modern technical facility. The establishment of the centre comes as a natural response to the pressing need to localise technology and strengthen the digital infrastructure, which has become the backbone of academic and administrative work in the twenty-first century.

The centre serves as an active technical arm of the university and its beating digital heart. It was designed to be the university's window on the digital world and the link between academic talent and modern technologies. The centre aims to build a smart system that supports all members of the university, including students, teaching staff and employees, and extends to serving the local community in Dhi Qar Governorate.
