The College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the University of Shatrah Holds an Educational Training Seminar Entitled "Human Resource Management as an Approach to Enhancing the Effectiveness of Structural Change"
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, President of the University of Shatrah,
and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Imad Kadhim Yasser, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences,
the College today, Sunday, 12 October 2025, held an educational training seminar entitled
"Human Resource Management as an Approach to Enhancing the Effectiveness of Structural Change",
as part of the National Strategic Programme for Education and Higher Education.
The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Amer Alaa Taha.
The seminar addressed several themes focusing on the importance of human resource management in supporting organisational change within educational institutions, and its role in raising performance efficiency and achieving harmony between structural and functional frameworks. It also discussed the challenges facing university administrations in adopting modern changes, and the mechanisms for developing human capital to keep pace with administrative and organisational developments.
The seminar was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Imad Kadhim Yasser, and his Administrative Associate, Asst. Lect. Khalid Hussein, together with a number of the teaching staff and employees of the College and the University. The seminar witnessed fruitful interaction and constructive contributions that enriched the scientific and practical discussion.
The seminar concluded with a final discussion session in which a set of views and proposals were put forward, aimed at enhancing the university work environment and achieving sustainable administrative development.
This seminar is part of the series of scientific and development activities organised by the College's Continuing Education Unit in cooperation with the University's Continuing Education Centre, within the framework of the University of Shatrah's continuous endeavour to raise academic and administrative performance.
