Today, Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education at the University, organized an introductory workshop on the British Givennik Scholarship Program in the discussion hall, in the presence of a number of faculty members and those interested in scholarship programs.
The workshop was presented by the Director of the Missions and Cultural Relations Department, A.M.D. Asmaa Youssef Dayan, during which she presented an introduction to the Giffenink program, which is one of the programs dedicated to supporting students and researchers who wish to continue their academic studies, and introduced the academic opportunities it provides and the mechanisms for benefiting from them.
The workshop also included an explanation of the most prominent application conditions and requirements, the mechanism for preparing the applicant’s file, and the basic stages that the grant application goes through, as well as the importance of early planning for application and reviewing the program’s instructions and controls.
Holding the workshop comes within the University of Shatrah’s direction towards spreading the culture of scholarship and scholarships, introducing its members to the available academic opportunities, and encouraging students and researchers to benefit from international educational programs that contribute to supporting their scientific and research careers.
