University of Shatrah organizes a workshop entitled “University Psychological Counseling and Its Role in Advancing the Educational Process”

Under the patronage of the President of University of Shatrah , Prof. Dr. Bassem Abdulhussein Jarallah, the university's Psychological Counseling Division organized a workshop on Thursday, October 2, 2025, entitled “University Psychological Counseling and its Role in Advancing the Educational Process,” in the university's discussion hall, with the participation of officials from the university's psychological counseling units in the colleges.

Assistant Professor Dr. Fadel Mohsen Hamad spoke at the workshop, emphasizing the role of university psychological counseling in integrating the educational process through constant communication with students on the one hand and with teaching and administrative staff on the other, and by organizing counseling activities related to university student behavior.

He also directed the heads of counseling units to work in accordance with the updated counseling guide, to implement the counseling program approved by the university council, to hold seminars for students to introduce them to the role of the counselor within the college, and to activate joint work with the counseling committees in the academic departments.

This workshop is part of a series of events that Al-Shatra University seeks to organize with the aim of enhancing psychological support for students and contributing to the development of the educational process in general.
