The College of Education for Girls - University of Shatrah holds a workshop on the Student Information Systems (SIS) and the GB Examination Board.
In implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and to complement the requirements for working with the SIS Student Information Systems and the GB Examination Committee System for the academic year 2025-2026, the College of Education for Girls - University of Shatrah held a training workshop on the mechanisms of working with the two systems, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, the respected Professor Dr. Afrah Abd Maktuf Al-Ghazi, and the distinguished ladies and gentlemen, heads of scientific departments, their rapporteurs, and members. Examination committees.
The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Hadeel Tariq Ibrahim, Head of the Information Technology Division, who reviewed in detail the steps for processing student data through the SIS system, the mechanisms for auditing and organizing it, and then transferring it to the GB system for examination committees.
The workshop also discussed the mechanisms for entering grades for the annual endeavor and the final exam, and methods for processing, auditing and approving them according to the approved contexts, leading to completing the procedures for announcing academic results in an accurate and organized manner.
The workshop aimed to unify electronic work mechanisms between scientific departments and examination committees, and raise the level of accuracy in processing students’ data and grades, as well as enhancing the efficiency of the relevant staff in using the two systems, which contributes to reducing errors and accelerating the completion of examination procedures.
The workshop witnessed interaction from the attendees, by raising a number of inquiries and observations related to the practical application of the two systems, and discussing mechanisms for handling cases that users may encounter while entering and verifying data and grades.
This workshop comes within the framework of the College of Education for Girls - University of Shatrah’s keenness to keep pace with the trends of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the field of digital transformation and developing the electronic work system, in a way that enhances the accuracy of examination procedures and raises the level of administrative and academic performance in the college.
