In line with the orientation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research towards consolidating the principles of transparency and integrity, the Media and Government Communication Division, in cooperation with the Committee for Combating Administrative and Financial Corruption at the College of Education – University of Shatrah, organised an awareness activity aimed at raising awareness of the dangers of corruption and its negative effects on educational institutions, on Sunday, 19 /10/ 2025.
The activity was carried out under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, President of the University, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Safaa Hussein Ali. The activity was also attended and actively supported by the Associate Dean, Lecturer Rahman Issa Safi, and by faculty members and staff. The Associate Dean praised the efforts made in preparing and organising the activity, stressing the importance of promoting a culture of integrity among students and staff and the need to continue such awareness initiatives.
The activity included the display of awareness posters and artistic media banners distributed throughout the College's corridors, along with posters containing guidance messages aimed at promoting a culture of integrity and combating corruption, particularly in administrative matters.
