College of Education for Girls – University of Shatrah Honours the Participants in the Comprehensive Scientific Competition of the College's Departments.
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah,
and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Prof. Dr. Afrah Abd Maktouf,
the committee supervising the comprehensive scientific competition, which was launched on Monday, 17/11/2025, with the participation of four departments:
Qur'anic Sciences and Islamic Education, Biology, Arabic Language, and Kindergarten, held a ceremony to distribute certificates of participation and appreciation.
The ceremony honoured the efforts of the members of the organising committee, the heads of departments, and the competing students who showed clear distinction in scientific performance and a fine spirit of academic competition throughout the days of the competition.
The supervising committee affirmed that this honour comes in appreciation of the great dedication shown by the participants and the commitment and seriousness they demonstrated, which contributed to the success of the event and the achievement of its scientific objectives.
It also stressed that holding such competitions is an important step in spreading a spirit of creative competition among students and strengthening their skills in research, thinking and formulating questions, deepening the learning experience and enriching the learning environment within the college.
Such activities are a central pillar of the college's strategy, which aims to:
– Empower students academically.
– Create spaces that stimulate creativity and dialogue.
– Raise the scientific and research standard in all the college's departments.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation and the taking of group photographs documenting the fine competitive atmosphere that marked the competition from its launch until the moments of honouring.
