Basim Abdulhussein Jarullah

نبذة

President of the University of Shatrah since 2021 and chairman of the committee that established it. He holds a Ph.D. from Trakia University, Bulgaria (2012, Excellent), an M.Sc. from the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Baghdad (2005), and a B.V.M.S. from the University of Basrah (1998). A faculty member of the College of Veterinary Medicine since 2012, he served as Associate Dean and Acting Dean. His field is epidemiology, infectious diseases and preventive medicine; he has published 43 papers, 10 of them in Scopus-indexed journals, and supervised several M.Sc. and Ph.D. theses.
